Hello! I’m Shinji Betchaku and I have trained actors in the Constantine Stanislavsky and Michael Chekhov Acting Techniques for 20 years at my school, Wings, in Tokyo. In 2019, Wings and LAPAC created a Collaboration Agreement and at this time we are able to hold an excellent one-month intensive course for Japanese actors. Besides being able to take lessons in American Acting Techniques at LAPAC, I will also be teaching 9 hours a week in Japanese, and the program will culminate in a performance at LAPAC’s Promenade Playhouse Theatre.
